My sweet little boy is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! We can not wait for Baby Blackwell #2 to make his/her debut in November! I’ve know I wanted to do a “Big Brother” shoot for a very long time to help make our announcement and Brady did SO great. Isn’t he just the most precious little boy you’ve ever seen.

On that same note… you might have noticed a lack of blog posts over the last 3 months. Well, thats because I have been laid up on my couch EXTREMELY sick with this baby. I think I’m finally over that major hurdle and enjoying my second trimester. I’m also excited for my belly to look more like a pregnant belly and less like I ate too many doughnuts. I’ll post pics as I take them.

Love this one! I could just squeeze him to death. At this point he is melting… it’s only been about 5 minutes… but Brady is not at a good age for picture taking, ha!One last one of daddy giving him a big tummy tickle! We’ll find out if it’s a boy or a girl in late June!! Whoo Hoo!!

I don’t think I will ever get sick of shooting in Golden Gate Park. I could do a shoot there every day of the year and they would all look different. Love the light in these photos and loved working with the sweet couple. Can’t wait for their wedding in September!!

Meet Courtney & Tye! This is one of my sweet Arkansas couples! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in early June. Just FYI… it was SO windy at their shoot. Like out of control windy. Courtney did so great with it though, she just embraced the wind, ha! Enjoy the photos.

As I headed to Tyler and Anastasiya’s wedding last Saturday in the *pouring* rain I knew my creative juices were going to have to be working extra hard. Thankfully, the skies cleared regardless of the 100% chance of rain forecast nearly the whole day. I have never been so happy to see the sun! Their ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church in Burlingame, CA and their reception was a The Poplar Creek GolfCourse. Enjoy the photos!

A few weeks ago I packed up the family and headed to Lake Tahoe for a day to photograph this sweet family. We only did 1 actual photo in the snow, but it was a cute one. This family always gets a 12×12 coffee table album of their images. What a great investment for their family.

This session just shows one of the many reason I love shooting in San Francisco! Such different unique locations all within miles of each other! Sara had one of those super sweet laughs which made for some very sweet photos! Just see for yourself… enjoy the photos!

We started off in Golden Gate Park!

Precious!I found this funky tree which made for a cute pic.Now onto the most *GORGEOUS* light I have ever shot it.I know I already posted this… but it’s totally re-post worthy.Lots of laughter… which makes for lots of great shots. Loving this one. They wanted to incorporate apples into their shoot because she is a teach and he works at Apple. Off to the middle of Golden Gate park!Who doesn’t love a little dancing shot?Gotta have these shots in every session! One to show the grandkiddos!
We then rushed the the beach to catch the sun before it set. It was crazy windy/cold, but we still got some cute shots! Thanks for a fun shoot Sara & Dave.

Kadie’s Bridal Portraits at the Pratt Place Inn & Barn {San Francisco Wedding Photographer} {Pratt Place Wedding Photographer}

All my California brides are probably going to be wondering what this post is? Well, in the South it’s tradition to do a session with only the bride all dressed up in her wedding dress a few months before her wedding. They are so much fun! I have had to keep these *gorgeous* bridal portraits taken at the Pratt Place Inn hidden for months. So excited I get to share them now that Kadie & Will got married in Mexico a few weeks ago. I made poor Kadie wake up super early, do hair and makeup and meet me as the sun was rising to catch the beautiful early morning light. I’m SO glad we did because I couldn’t have asked for better light in her portraits! Enjoy the photos!

How incredible are the colors behind Kadie? Absolutely love this shot! For all you photographers who are wondering… this image is straight out of the camera shot this with my 105 macro. I know, very odd thing to shoot with this lens, but I love how it compresses everything. Soft morning light… can’t beat it!
So pretty!

I shot a few details since I wasn’t going to be photographing her actual wedding.
